On the night of April 16, three persons, including two sadhus of the Juna Akhada, were lynched to death outside Gandchinchle village in Palghar . The trio were en route to Surat in Gujarat from Kandivali in Mumbai to attend a funeral. The incident happened after a mob stopped their car near the Palghar village and dragged the men out.
